Our WI plays an active part in the local community. We hold coffee mornings for local organisations and every year we have one or more stalls at the local carnival and members are driven through the streets of our village perched on the top of our carnival float.

Another yearly event for us is the Beach Litter Pick and we gather complete with bags and gloves to help clear the beaches after the summer holiday period.

Our organisation is always ready to help out with any worthwhile cause and a couple of years ago we were pleased to help our local lifeboat members by serving refreshments to all those who attended a Remembrance Day Sunday Service which was given by the Bishop of Norwich and held in the local lifeboat shed.
